Since the foundation of our company over 90 years ago, the requirements for technical products have been constantly changed. What started out as a traditional owner-managed company (Reutter Metallwarenfabrik GmbH, production of radiator, oil filler and tank filler caps in metal and plastic) is now a modern company with a firmly-established position in the economic regions of Stuttgart and Salzburg. Innovative solutions in the closure technology have made us one of the leading companies in this sector. Our core business focuses on the development and production of radiator, tank filler and oil filler caps which are primarily made using plastic injection moulding methods. 140 highly qualified employees at our two sites in Waiblingen (Germany) and St. Johann i. Pg. (Austria) ensure that Reutter products meet the highest standards at all times. We also have the advantage of being able to complete all the important stages of the process in-house: from development and design using state-of-the-art CAD systems through in-house tool production, the testing departments, the special machine construction department for the design and building of our assembly machines, to our production facilities.These synergetic effects have also helped our two plants to be certified acc. to VDA 6.1 in December 1997 and acc. to QS 9000 in August 1998. In August 2004 we received additional certifications acc. to QS 9001 and ISO/TS 16949. This means we fulfill the strictest quality requirements set by the automotive industry worldwide.
