Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH was founded in 1960 as third foreign subsidiary of the Liebherr group. The production sites in Bischofshofen cover more than 46,000 sqm of the 220,000 sqm property.

Since 1986 wheeled loaders are produced in Bischofshofen.

At present, about 690 employees manufacture the whole range of Liebherr wheeled loaders, which includes 16 types with dumping weights of 3,231 kg - 20,430 kg, shovel capacities of 0.8 - 5,5 cu.m., operation weights of 5,120 kg - 31,380 kg and engine outputs of 58 HP/42 kW - 340 HP/250 kW.

The company Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH distributes in Austria not only its own products, but also the extensive range of construction machines manufactured by the Liebherr group, including construction cranes, vehicle-mounted cranes, hydraulic excavators, cable excavators, crawler tractors, crawler loaders, concrete mixing plants and truck mixers.
